1. Who We Are
AI Prompt Manager ("the app") is an Android app for saving, organising and reusing AI prompts. The app is built by oodhwe ("we", "our", "us"). Questions? Contact us at support@oodhwe.in.
2. The Short Version
- Your prompts, notes, files and settings stay on your phone. We run no servers for the app.
- The app does not request internet access and cannot connect to the internet.
- There are no accounts, sign-ups or logins.
- There are no ads, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- The app does not connect to any AI service. It only copies, shares or inserts text into apps you choose.
- We do not collect, receive or sell your personal information.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following only on your device:
- Prompts: titles, template text, descriptions, categories, tags, variable settings (labels, defaults, options), favorite and pin states, and version history of the template text.
- Reference Library: notes, code snippets, links, and details of files you add (name, type, size). A file itself is stored in the app only if you choose "Import a copy".
- Collections, chains and Profiles. A Profile contains only the values you type into it yourself.
- Usage information: how many times and when you last copied or shared each prompt.
- Settings: theme, accent colour, app lock and encryption choices, your preferred "Send to" app, and reminder settings.
- Whether your Pro features and Prompt Packs are unlocked, as reported by Google Play.
4. Values You Fill In
The values you type into the Fill & Copy sheet, the chain runner or the keyboard are used only to build the finished text. They are not saved in usage history or in prompt versions, and they are discarded when you close the sheet. Only the text you copy, share or insert leaves the app, and only to the place you choose.
5. Data We Do Not Collect
We cannot see any of the data above. Uninstalling the app removes it from your phone, subject to the backup options in section 9. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, advertising ID, device identifiers or usage statistics.
6. Permissions
The app does not request internet, location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone, SMS or broad storage permissions. Files are chosen with Android's own file picker, so the app can only read files you pick.
- Notifications: optional, only if you turn on "Prompt of the day". Android asks you at that moment. The reminder is created and shown on your phone.
- Run at startup: so the optional daily reminder is scheduled again after your phone restarts.
- Biometrics / screen lock: optional, only if you turn on app lock. Fingerprint, face or screen-lock checks are done by Android; the app never receives your biometric data.
- Google Play billing: so you can buy Pro or Prompt Packs through Google Play.
- Background and widget support: Android components used to refresh the optional home-screen widget.
7. Prompt Keyboard and Text Selection
- The Prompt Keyboard is a prompt picker. It does not record, store or transmit what you type in other apps.
- The keyboard reads the current text field only when you tap "Use text in field" or "Use selection", to place that text into your prompt on your device. It does not offer insertion in password fields.
- "Use in AI prompt" in the text-selection menu receives the text you selected only when you choose it. That text is used on your device to fill your prompt and is not stored.
- Text or files that you share into the app are used only to create what you choose (a prompt, note, snippet or import), and only after you confirm.
8. Clipboard
The app puts text on your clipboard when you tap a copy action. It reads the clipboard only when you tap a paste button, or when you open a prompt that contains the {{@clipboard}} variable. Clipboard contents are used on your device and are not stored or sent anywhere. Other apps with clipboard access may read what you copy, which is controlled by Android.
9. Backups, Export and Sharing
- Android backup and device transfer are turned off for this app. We do not store your library in the cloud.
- Backup files: you can save your library to a file you choose. Backups are not encrypted unless you set a password (a Pro feature). If you forget a backup password it cannot be recovered. Where you store or share a backup is up to you.
- Prompt Packs, CSV and JSON exports contain the prompts and references you select. Pack files never include files or usage data.
- Sharing a prompt or QR code sends it to the app or person you choose, not to us.
10. Security
Your library is kept in the app's private storage. You can turn on app lock and database encryption (Pro). The encryption key is protected by the Android Keystore on your phone. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so please keep your phone locked and your backups safe.
11. Purchases and Google Play
Pro and Prompt Packs are one-time purchases processed by Google Play. Google may process your payment and account details under Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). The app only learns from Google Play, on your phone, which purchases you own. We do not receive your payment details or identity. The app may also ask Google Play to show its standard review prompt; that prompt is run by Google Play and sends nothing to us. If you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics with Google, Google Play may give us anonymous aggregate crash statistics in the Play Console.
12. Other Apps and AI Services
When you copy, share or insert a prompt into another app, such as an AI assistant, that app's own privacy policy applies to what you give it. We have no control over those apps. Please avoid putting secrets or personal data into prompts that you send to services you do not trust.
13. Your Choices and Rights
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can remove all app data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, email support@oodhwe.in.
14. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
