Common questions
Does CellSwipe upload my spreadsheets?
No. The app never uploads your spreadsheets. Files are opened and saved on your device, or in the storage provider you pick, such as Google Drive.
Does it work offline?
Yes for opening, viewing and editing your files, which happens on your device. Ads, if shown, need an internet connection.
Which file types are supported?
XLSX and CSV for viewing and editing, and legacy XLS for viewing only. CellSwipe focuses on common spreadsheet tasks and formulas, and does not try to replicate every Excel feature.
Will saving damage my Excel file?
CellSwipe is designed to keep the parts of an XLSX it does not understand instead of discarding them. As with any editor, keep a copy of important files before editing.
Is there an account or subscription?
No account is needed. The app is free and may show Google ads.
How do I contact support?
